MY HALF KITCHEN
EMPLOYING LOCAL WOMEN OVERCOMING TRAFFICKING, ADDICTIONS or LIFE AS A REFUGEE
Each item is baked with care and created by local women in DuPage county who have faced obstacles to employment due to exploitation and hardship, now employed at our local non-profit, MY HALF KITCHEN, 501(c)3.
My Half employs local women who are overcoming trauma and hardship from human trafficking or life as a refugee. The My Half Kitchen is an opportunity to build relationships, gain job experience, skills and hope for dignified work.
